ElertiLink allows you to connect to other PCs on your network and display, announce or reply to messages from connected computers. ElertiLink can connect to other computers on your network even if your BlackBerry is connected to Elertify via USB.
To use ElertiLink you must install the Elertify Windows software on each PC you want to use.
You should use the PC that you connect the BlackBerry to as the master PC from which you setup ElertiLink. Using the same PC to setup ElertiLink will avoid potential conflicts with other computers.
You can use either WiFi or wired network connections with ElertiLink as long as they are on the same network.
We recommend using a static or reserved IP address for the computers on your network when using ElertiLink. Please refer to your network router user guide for details on setting up static and reserved IP addresses.
To setup ElertiLink, right click on the Elertify icon in the system tray and select "ElertiLink" from the menu. Type in the IP address, port and password (optional) of the computer you want to connect to and press the "Add" button. You can obtain the IP Address and port by opening up the "WiFi Setup" option in Elertify on the remote computer. If you check the box next to the IP address in the list, Elertify will attempt to connect to that PC when your BlackBerry connects to Elertify.
To connect manually, select the IP address and press the "Connect" button.
To remove a connection, select the IP address and press the "Remove" button.
